We're not in Camden anymore. Great Escape is everything the Camden Crawl could be, but isn't. Yes, there's still the problems with over capacity and long walks between venues. But, there's a great, relaxed vibe to it all, and hey, it's by the seaside.

Whereas the attitude at Camden was "fuck you, we've got your money", at Great Escape there's regular text updates from T-mobile telling you which venues are full, and which still have capacity. And if you accept you're not going to get in to see the big ticket acts, you can just put the festival on random play and enjoy yourself.
